Banner Love

Yep.  My crushes hit hard and fast.  I have been in love with banners since last year and have been making holiday and seasonal ones for our fireplace mantle and the kids birthdays.  However...my friends/family love them, too, and I frequently end up giving them away.  LOL  Here are a few I have made:

Now, I did not really make a Christmas banner because I did this Christmas Countdown Calendar instead:

I am in need of a Spring banner...my mantle is so empty since Valentines Day is over.  I have some ideas brewing in my head...but take at look at what I found...(Disclaimer...I did NOT make these, but I am crushing on them all the same.)

Don't you just love web browsing?  If you have any other thoughts on banners, please share with me.  I am in the idea collecting phase now before I start sketching it out.

I really love the "welcome" one...the way each letter is on a different shape and the layering with those half medallion circles is lovely! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I don't have any ideas for you but I do love the banner idea! The metal tree you have on your mantel caught my eye, I LOVE that!! Can't wait to see what your next banner will be!

Wow, I wish I had a mantle like that! All of your banners are beautiful. I love the look of tulle between the pennants. I am really liking the new half circle shaped chipboard album by Maya Road, I'm wanting to do one of those myself.

Lovely banners - both the ones you have made and the ones you are crushing on from other blogs. Very creative!

I really like your happy one.
It's got that vintage feel to it.
Nice work.

Love how the banners really do dress up your mantle. My house has been bare since Christmas. I can't wait to get the Easter stuff out. I love the example above with the red, blue and tulle ribbons tied. Also the one above with the fan fold circles. I'm sure what every you come up with will be awesome!
