Counterfeit Kit Challenge #2: 2 for 1

Our second challenge over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog is to make a layout and then make a card based on that layout.  One of the things I really like to do to maximize my time when I get to be creative is to use my scraps from a layout to make a card or two.  It is so nice to have things already together that are coordinated.

It was about time I created a little something about my new nephew, Jaxson...

While I was at it...I made a card for his big brother, Ben.

Apparently Ben has been carrying it around and showing it to everyone.  Guess I had better get a new one in the mail soon.

Head on over to the CKCB and check out the challenge.

That layout is just stunning - a great colour combo and beautiful framing for the photo. The card is super cute too - love that felt creature and the fun speech bubble.

What a sweet lo, and the froggy card is adorable! I didn't get this one done yet, but I will have to play along after being so inspired by everyone's super cards and LO's!
